Bang the Drum Productions

Perhaps the creation of the drum came as a result of our ancestors emulating primates who made drumming sounds by chest beating or as a result of observing kangaroo rats making similar sounds as they tapped their paws on the ground as part of social communication. Who knows?

Whatever their origins, drums have not only been used for social communication in general, but also as a means of communication over great distances between the state and the community, to motivate troops, to help set a marching pace, to call out orders or announcements, and of course for their musical qualities.

Like the talking drums of Africa can imitate the inflections and pitch variations of the spoken language of its culture, Bang the Drum Productions' mission is to develop, capture and share a full spectrum of fresh entertainment content that is perhaps unfamiliar or even unusual in it's point of view.... content that reflects the "pitch variations" emanating from each of us....content that provokes dialog between cultures...between people...content that raises our level of consciousness....content that motivates....content that sets the pace.
